Skills Maintenance for 2022-23 Season
Clovelly is using a new format for Skills Maintenance this season, a combination of Online Theory and practical skills sessions at Clovelly. The new format will:
Online Theory Components to be completed in the SLSA eLearning platform, accessible via your Members Area account, for the following three areas:

Before attending a practical skills maintenance session at the club members must:
On the day you must:
- Reduce the amount of face-to-face time required at the club doing skills maintenance.
- Free up trainers involved in training BM, SRC & IRB Driver squads and doing Nipper education sessions.
- Ensure all members are maintaining the standard of knowledge and expertise required of surf lifesavers.
Online Theory Components to be completed in the SLSA eLearning platform, accessible via your Members Area account, for the following three areas:
- Resuscitation
- Radio Operations
- Powercraft (IRB)

Before attending a practical skills maintenance session at the club members must:
- Have completed your Skills Maintenance online theory questions using the SLSA eLearning platform accessed via the Members Area.
- Be a current financial member for Season 2021-22 (Payment can be made via the Members Area).
On the day you must:
- Arrive 10 minutes prior to the commencement time.
- Sign onto the registration form for each award you are being assessed on.
