Welcome to The Clovelly Surf Life Saving Club
We are honoured and proud to announce that we have one the prestigious NSW Club of the Year award. This award looks at all aspects of the club and, as such, is a credit to all current and past members who have done so much to build up our club. Well done.
The big events for the month ahead are:
Start of Season BBQ 19 September 3-8pm in the upstairs bar
NRL Grandfinal 3 October - BBQ and sweeps – wear your team colours
Patrols start 25 September. Check the website for your patrol team and roster.
Proficiencies are coming up so I am looking forward to seeing many of you down at the club to sharpen up your fitness. The dates are on the club calendar.
A couple of members have asked me about using the ski’s in the hall. There are three owned by the club. Feel free to use them. They are clearly marked for competition. Al Pausey is running a board and ski coaching session every Tuesday at 6pm throughout the summer.
Gerry McGillion is putting together a juniors programme with plenty of training and a volleyball session each week. Watch this space for more details.
Wendy Pepper is organising a meeting for anyone interested in competing. The meeting will be on 26 September – time will be advised closer to the date so watch out for this

The Lifesaving Online website enables all club members to take control of their own membership details. By registering at the website, members of surf lifesaving clubs can, view their awards, check patrol dates and hours accumulated and update their own personal details (change address and contact details).
